A newly discovered interest that has slowly grown to become an obsession
when I was not looking...
I never thought of myself as a photographer, even while clicking away steadily
during all my travels.
I used to shoot with a basic Canon digital camera (ouch!) and pretty much without
thinking too much about it. Neither of which is the ideal way to go about pursuing this interest.

I am now the proud owner of a Sony DSC R1 - discovering slowly but happily
how a great camera can take the photography experience to an entirely different level...
